Resources

Portland’s iconic street art scene - and therefore this project - would not be what it is today without the support of incredible organizations.  Here are a few that have helped us complete our project:

pdxstreetart.org - Portland Street Art Alliance serves as a crucial nexus for Portland street artists for resources, funding, professional development, and more. PSAA provides community services such as tours and events. Most important to our project, PSAA commissions street artists in its Community Art Program, creating important and memorable wall murals throughout the city.

forestforthetreesnw.com - Forest For The Trees is a local nonprofit with the aim of improving the Portland urban landscape with artwork from local and international artists. By helping to grow the community art of the city, Forest For The Trees hopes that those who work, play, and travel in Portland will see a different side of the urban environment outside of their daily routines.

https://findmasa.com/city/portland - FindMASA is a crowdsourced directory of murals from dozens of municipalities throughout the US. Users can compete for positions on a leaderboard and the murals can be searched through a variety of tags and artists.

racc.org - The Regional Arts and Culture Council is a nonprofit serving Clackamas, Multnomah, and Washington counties. With a focus on equity and inclusion, the RACC provides services such as a public art program, community events, and funding for artists and other organizations.

The mural in the background is Hawthorne Arrows by Blaine Fontana (2015).
